Premier Subaru Supports National Car Care Month, Offers Fuel Savings Tips For All Drivers

Branford, CT - April 6, 2011 - Premier Subaru is once again celebrating the Car Care Council's National Car Care Month in April by offering free vehicle diagnostic inspections for Subaru vehicles at their location at 150 North Main Street in Branford, Connecticut. Premier Subaru's theme for this year's program is "MPG: Maintenance Preserves Gas", which underscores the importance of regular vehicle maintenance when it comes to maximizing any vehicle's fuel economy.

Premier Subaru is also sharing some helpful tips on ways to improve fuel economy, which can be used by any driver, for any vehicle:

* Maintain proper tire pressure
* Replace air filter when dirty
* Use cruise control whenever possible
* Remove excess weight inside vehicle
* Change engine oil and filter when dirty
* Drive sensibly
* Tighten the gas cap
* Avoid excess vehicle idling

"Whatever vehicle you drive, these simple tips will help maximize your fuel economy and save money at the pump, which is especially important now that we're seeing a noticeable increase in gas prices" notes Robert J. Alvine, President of Premier Subaru. Congratulations to Premier Subaru's own Gary Christiansen for winning the SILVER AWARD for Service Consultant Excellence from Subaru of America for 2008. Gary's award places him in SECOND position out of all of the Service Consultants in the Northeast (over 80 people!). We congratulate Gary, who is a REPEAT WINNER OF THIS AWARD on this wonderful achivement. We are very proud of him!

Thank You For All Who Attended Our Last New Owner's Clinic!

I want to thank the 30 NEW Subaru owners who took time out of their busy schedules to attend our last new owner's clinic. In this clinic, Dennis Cullen, our Service Director, explained the benefits to proper vehicle maintenance, provided tips and fuel saving ideas. In addition, customers were able to look underneath vehicles on the lifts, as well as interact with our Certified Technicians. We were also able to provide additional information on their vehicles, as well as show them where to check the critical fluids for prolonged safety and reliability. Congratulations to the door prize winners too!

NEW SUBARU OWNERS! YOU ARE INVITED!

We are, once again, proud to welcome our new Subaru owner's to a NEW OWNERS CLINIC to be held on February 26, 2008 at 6pm at our dealership. This is the 31st time we are holding one of these very popular clinics. It is an information gathering where we show you some basic maintenance tips, as well as have you interact with some of our Certified Subaru Technicians. We put some cars up on the lift so that you can see the undercarriages and be more familiar with the vehicle you just purchased. If you are interested in attending, please call our Service Department, or your sales consultant, and they will make the arrangements. The entire event lasts about 60 minutes and we even offer you free food and drink! It is a relaxed and informal environment designed to allow you to be familiar with the operations of your new Subaru and it's basic maintenance needs. See you there!
